Distinguished Paper at IEEE S&P 2025

Our paper on robocall measurement received a Distinguished Paper Award at IEEE S&P.

On Monday, Sathvik Prasad presented “Characterizing Robocalls with Multiple Vantage Points,” which was joint work with my PhD Student Aleksandr Nahapetyan. This project involved building infrastructure to observe robocall campaigns from multiple network perspectives—work that took several years to come together. I’m grateful to the collaborators and contributors who made the work possible, including the FTC, RRaptor, and Bandwidth. I’m also grateful to the awards committee for the recognition.
